Hi my name is MaryAnn of Miss MaryAnn's Little Learners,
My daycare ratio is one adult to six children plus I can take two school age but typically I have no school age enrolled.
My program includes an indoor play area where the children enjoy blocks, dress up, puppets, house play, and many other play time activities. The children typically lead the activities and are learning throughout the day. I read to the children and they also have their own reading time :) Outdoor playtime includes riding bikes, running, playing ball, taking walks on the property. Outside we also do science, composting, gardening, and recycling. At our home we have a love for nature and animals and the children are always safely supervised around any of our pets.
I am 53 years young and my experience includes raising my own three children who are now in their 20's. When my own children were young I ran a large family licensed child care in Hayward, CA. I went to HSU and in 2006 I received my BA in Child Development. I worked at two preschools in the area as a preschool teacher and filled in as a director for a short time. I am preschool director qualified. My First Aid, Pediatric CPR is current as of July 2011. Everyone in my home is fingerprinted and checked through the Department of Justice as required by licensing.
Current Openings include: Full time Infant openings (zero to two years old), Full time or two part time openings for two years and up. I also have two school age openings. In addition I also do drop-in care on a daily basis if I have openings (a $50 registration fee, licensing paperwork must be on file for drop in care. Drop in care is paid daily at drop off).
My regular and "drop in"rates:
Birth to 6 months old $50 per day
6 months to 2 year old $45 per day
2 + years old $35 per day.
School Age $25 per day
I do take subsidy care children from Changing Tides and I provide healthy meals.
I am open M-Th from 7:45 am to 5:15 pm. I am very reliable and I have references. My Friday rate is $50 up to 9 hours then $10 per hour for any part of the hour after 9 hours. This applies to all ages.
