Canadian Kennel Club Papillon Breed Standard
Q. How many points do I need to earn a Conformation Championship title in the Canadian Kennel Club?
A. Conformation championship points are awarded at Conformation Shows. To become a Conformation Champion, your dog must earn at least 10 points under at least three different judges and have earned at least one 2-point win, either at the breed or group level. Your dog must also be individually registered with the CKC or have an Event Registration Number.

TIME: 10:00AM - 4:00 PM
BILL AND I (MARYANN), NEMO, ROSE, & BONNIE OF PLAYFUL PAPILLONS, ATTENDED THE 25TH ANNUAL DOG EXPO IN 2012... THERE WERE DEMONSTRATIONS OF VARIOUS DOG ACTIVITIES AND DRAWINGS FOR DOG RELATED ITEMS WHICH SUPPORT THE SPAY AND NEUTER PROGRAM THROUGH HUMDOG. DURING THE "PARADE OF BREEDS" , THE ANNOUNCER ACCIDENTLY FORGOT TO ANNOUNCE THE PAPILLONS, BUT THEN REALIZED AND WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE NEMO AND ROSE AROUND THE RING. A NICE WOMEN CAME TO OUR TABLE LATER AND SAID "HOW COULD THEY FORGET SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BREED?" SHE THEN SAID THAT THE CROWD STARTED SAYING "PAPILLONS!, PAPILLONS, PAPILLONS! WHEN THEY NOTICED WE WERE FORGOTTEN. :) HAHA THAT WAS VERY SWEET!
WE LOVE HOW SO MANY SENIORS, ADULTS, AND CHILDREN GATHER ROUND TO LEARN, AND PET OUR LITTLE PAPILLONS. IT IS FUN TO HEAR ALL THE QUESTIONS ASKED WITH SINCERE INTEREST.
SOME OF OUR VISITORS OWN PAPILLONS AND WOULD LIKE TO GET TOGETHER AND HAVE A PAPILLON PLAY GROUP.
